All new volunteers will receive a briefing prior to the event by your local Co-ordinator, either via the telephone or in person. This is to make sure that all volunteers feel fully briefed about the events and know what's expected of them.

Teams of Year 9 studetns from across the Horsham area will be competing in this challenge. They will be trading in stocks and shares and the team with the most amount of money at the end of the day wins. We need business volunteers to assist the teams. The dragon's will be able to assist the teams in the morning by running mini workshops on presentation skills etc. and then acting as advisers to the teams before the judging in the afternoon. The CSI Challenge

The students will learn more about the criminal justice system and develop their problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills. They will investigate a crime scene, collect evidence, interview the suspects and put together a case for the prosecution for the mock trial, which will take place on the Wednesday at Horsham Magistrate’s Court. We need a variety of volunteers to assist the students throughout the day including people with a legal background. We also need two female volunteers to play the role of key witnesses. The witnesses will be questioned by police and the student detectives. They will need to collect evidence from the witnesses including fingerprints and mug shots.
