One person's rubbish is another's profit!

Students from Cornfield School in Littlehampton took part in their annual Business and Enterprise Week where they researched, designed and presented a new product made from recycled materials.

Teams were supported in the week with expert advice from Jools Chaffer of Dizzy and judged by Sara Hopkins, The Littlehampton Academy, Jacqui Scerri from the Education Business Partnership and Mark Butler, Mayor of Littlehampton.

The winning team, Cash in the Trash made fridge magnets and key rings made from heat shrunk materials and presented them in a hand stitched gingham pouch.  There presentation was set at a picnic which pointed out what a shame it was they had to throw so much rubbish away!

The judges commented on the uniqueness of their product and the creative way they pitched their product.
